Set within the grounds of a former Georgian 1920’s residence and only five minute walk from Huddersfield town centre, The Vinery Salon combines the very best in hair and beauty treatments. Sarah is the latest member of staff offering a range of CACI facial treatments using the latest technology from the Synergy machine, which is one of only a few in Yorkshire.

The word ‘CACI‘ means: Computer Aided Cosmetology Instrument. The CACI treatment has had over 23 years of medical research behind it and is completely safe and painless. After searching for various ways to tone my skin, CACI came up as the winner in terms of being cost effective, painless and delivering natural yet effective results.

Prior to the CACI treatments I underwent a Microdermabrasion session to ensure maximum preparation. Sarah started off the treatment with a manual facial to remove any make-up and to prep the skin, she then started the orbital microdermabrasion, (which is crystal free) I was reassured it was a gentle yet effective exfoliation. This involves a hand held machine which has an attached abrasion tip, and offers a deep exfoliation action to the superficial conium layer (top layer) of the skin. Red and Blue LED light is used so it looks like a very attractive bright flashing wand!

Sarah then moved onto the CACI treatment which involved a machine with metal probes that she explained use a tiny micro current that helps to tone, lift and re-educate the muscles back to their original position.  As a minimum of ten sessions are needed, the settings on the machine start off on the lowest micro current and the intensity of the micro current then increases with each treatment session, slowly building the muscle to encourage it to stay toned for longer. The red and blue LED light is released from the end of the probes to work on the skin tissue. The red LED light speeds up cell regeneration and wound healing. The blue LED light is soothing, anti-itch, anti-irritation and anti-stress. It also has extremely powerful antiseptic and anti-bacterial properties and cools down inflammations such as arthritis and rheumatism and can kills acne bacteria.  This is my favourite bit of the treatment and worked wonders on acne breakouts.

The treatment is finished off with a Hydro Mask that delivers hydrating nutrients to the skin tissue.  This leaves your skin looking and feeling amazing.

The final treatment combines micro current rollers (which help restore muscle tone and firmness) with the Hydro Mask. The Hydro Mask is infused with collagen, hyaluronic acid and rose water to deeply nourish and deliver a surge of moisture to the skin that will soothe and calm any redness and irritation – which is great for a special occasion and perfect for brides-to-be.
