Lord’s Dining Club Events to Grace Famous MCC Long Room

New for 2018, Lord’s Dining Club is an exciting dining series which has been honouring the age-old pairing of food and cricket; MCC tradition has been coupled with innovative cooking from world renowned chefs. With Tom Kerridge and Claude Bosi having already cooked up a storm in the famous MCC Long Room, Simon Rogan hosts the third event on Wednesday 17th October.

Known for a distinctive and inventive cooking technique, and harvesting his own produce from the farm next to his two Michelin-starred restaurant, L’Enclume, Rogan’s use of unusual and exciting ingredients has seen him remain a leading figure in the industry for many years.

Daniel Clifford, Chef-patron of two Michelin-starred restaurants, will then be up next on Wednesday 28th November to round off what has been an exciting series. Each event will take place in the Grade II*-listed Pavilion, including a Nyetimber sparkling wine reception with a selection of MCC canapés in the Long Room Bar – or in the famous Dressing Room for those who wish to indulge with a VIP package – before feasting on a four-course menu in the august and historic surroundings of the Long Room. The menus will be exclusively designed by the evening’s chef, with each course paired with a matching wine. A Q&A session will then be held by one of cricket’s best known legends, Angus Fraser.

The Lord’s Dining Club experience is priced at £150+VAT or £200+VAT for the VIP package. Individual spaces can be purchased by telephoning 020 7616 8598 or emailing events@lords.org.
