Can we just take a second to appreciate the woman who runs the world not only the music front, but on the beauty front too? It’s easy for us girls to get a little envious what with the plethora of perfectly preened celebs circulating the media, but we also need to show some appreciation. One lovely lady who deserves some love is the feisty and fiery independent woman that is Beyonce.

Queen Bey oozes sex appeal and I think it’s probably safe to say that plenty of you would agree. Beyonce always manages to look flawless and with little Blue Ivy to look after, it’s impressive. Clearly, beauty and motherhood go hand in hand for Beyonce. She seems to achieve that effortless glow so many of us crave. But the question on all of our lips is how does she do it?

Beyonce sports a look of less is more, which I love. She usually opts for a glowing base, strong eyes and a nude lip. But on the odd occasion she does rock a bold lip, she looks just as incredible. She’s got the whole bronzed goddess thing down to a tee and layers on bronzers for public appearances to secure the appearance of gorgeous sun-kissed skin.

I don’t know about you, but I often wonder what life would be like if I had someone waiting on me hand and foot ready to make me look fabulous at the drop of a hat. BUT ladies, I’ll have you know that in previous years, Beyonce has revealed that she does her own makeup before performances as it allows her to get in the zone. Don’t give up just yet girls, if Bey is a single lady when it comes to makeup, let’s follow in her footsteps.

Another three tier tip Beyonce has blessed us with is primers, waterproof mascara and powder to keep everything in place. Not all of us can afford the £85 Natura Bissé Diamond Dust Skin Perfection treatment she indulges in, but if there is one thing we can take from Bey for free, it’s to be happy within your own skin. She encapsulates independence, confidence and a carefree attitude which is something we should all embrace. After all, a smile is the prettiest thing you can wear.
