Alice Temperley’s Somerset range was the fastest selling brand ever at John Lewis, and now a 23-piece lingerie and nightwear collection has been added to her Somerset brand. The British designer has most definitely lived up to her reputation with her debut lingerie line, giving us an abundance of luxe, Japanese inspired floral prints in enticing vintage styles. The ever-so elegant collection features gorgeous kimono-style dressing gowns, cashmere robes and sensual, silky short and cami sets, along with eyelash-lace trimmed bras and briefs that echo the glamour of Hollywood in the 50’s, with balconette silhouettes. Not forgetting the lust-worthy, mannish pyjama sets. With obvious influences from the old black and white Ginger Rogers films, the collection is soft yet sexy and sophisticated.
