Christopher Kane is set to open his first ever flagship store at before the end of 2014, on London’s Mount Street. Being the birth place of the ingenious Christopher Kane brand, it is ever so significant for the first store to be launching in London.
After an investment from the luxury conglomerates, Kering earlier this year, they were keen to take the next step with the brand, and launch a store. This gives opportunity for Christopher and his sister and deputy creative director, Tammy to translate their visions into a retail space, and seeing how they choose showcase the collections in the retail environment will be really interesting.
After the mania surrounding the Kane collection in Topshop a few years ago, and the constant buzz around the ground-breaking designers, the store in London is sure to become a fashionista hot spot from the second it opens.
