Jean Paul Gaultier announces new Couture line for Children

We have recently been graced with the news of an upcoming couture line for children, from designer Jean Paul Gaultier. He already has an adult couture line, and a non-couture children’s line under his belt, and so combining the two seemed like the logical next step for the brand, and what an exciting one it is.

The collection features Indian gypsy inspired, silk and tulle gowns, for little girls who want to look like princesses, which is most probably the majority of girls under the age of ten. The design was developed from the last look of Jean Paul Gaultier’s Spring/Summer 2013 Couture Collection, where small children wearing similar style dresses, came running from underneath the finale dress. The adorable gowns feature a full, flowing crinoline skirt with a basic t-shirt style bodice, embellished with dazzling Swarovski crystals, available in two colours; bright pink and ivory.

Simply perfect for the princess style. With just 90 pieces made we suggest you don’t hang about when they go on sale. Don’t worry too much though, as the line will be updated every six months, and we certainly cannot wait to see what else Jean Paul Gaultier has lined up for the rest of his Children’s Couture collection. The gowns are set to be on sale by the end of the year, available in selected locations around the world, such as Harrods in London, Harvey Nichols in Dubai, and Princess in Cannes.

Prices From £720
