O2 Arena Is The New Luxury Shopping Destination
The O2 Arena in Greenwich is soon to be the new ultimate luxury shopping destination! With a six month exclusivity agreement already signed between Property Company Land Securities and O2 owner and concert promoter AEG to develop the outlet centre.
The unused space of the venue situated beside the Thames has 230,000 sq ft that AEG currently has planning permission to house up to 110 shops, as well as bars and restaurants. The luxury shopping experience will be situated on the ground floor of the arena, with an additional area on an unused balcony on the upper floor. This was originally created with a large casino in mind, but we are sure that all fashion lovers will be more than happy by the change in plan.
Although still in the early stages of planning the centre hopes to attract much loved brands such as Dolce & Gabbana, Louis Vuitton and Burberry. If these big names are anything to go off, then we are most definitely getting super excited for the opening of this new luxury shopping destination!
