Paris Fashion Week: Rochas S/S ’14

Marco Zanini’s spring 2014 collection for Rochas was like a perfect girly dream of pastel fabrics and lace and frills.

The show opened the show with candy colours breezing the catwalk, a big trend for spring. Feminine silhouettes, ruffles and pleats were among the flowing designs. There was something very child-like or as if the models had walked out from a mystery fairy tale land in glitter drenched dresses and big tulle ballerina skirts.

Feather duster like shoes were worn giving a unique look to the collection and the models hair was worn in a pixie style messed up do and eye makeup was perfectly smudged to give a cute smoky look. Metallic jewellery, bags and sunglasses gave off a cool vibe in the collection.

Unfortunately it seems that this could be Marco Zanini’s last show for Rochas as it is rumoured he is moving to Schiaparelli, but were glad he chose to leave the fashion house with a collection as pretty and sparkly as this collection, we can’t wait to see what he brings to Schiaparelli and we are especially excited to rock pastels again next spring.
