Salon Review: Leticia Haute Coiffure

Following the glamorous awards season, with the glitziest events packed with gorgeous celebrities, smugly showing off their super shiny hair and the most perfectly manicured hands, it makes us mere mortals feel a bit dull and boring.  Thus, it’s the ideal opportunity to treat yourself to a Hollywood makeover. If the celebs can, why can’t we?

I was lucky enough to experience two wonderful treatments at the charming Leticia Haute Coiffure. Located in Marylebone, the salon offers a range of lovely ways to be seriously pampered, including Hollywood hair styling, magical manicures and on trend make-up sessions.

A warm welcome from staff and the peaceful atmosphere in the salon made me feel instantly at ease. To begin with, I received a luxurious blow-dry, courtesy of Pierre Doumit, the award winning, Creative Director of the salon.

After a relaxing hair wash and head massage, Pierre talked me through his plans to transform my hair into a fabulous style, worthy of any  A-lister. With a speedy, yet professional dry, Pierre demonstrated exactly why he has been awarded for his work, providing handy tips on how to make the most of my hair. I was left with a glossy and sleek do, full of life and ready to be shown off to the world.

I then moved next door to enjoy a manicure, carried out by the brilliant beautician, Silvia. I was asked to do the impossible and choose one shade, out of the large and magnificent array of nail polishes.

Once I finally made my decision, a bold and beautiful coral if you were wondering, Silvia set to work on shaping and clipping my nails into talon perfection. My hands were then treated to a soothing massage, using a silky smooth and fresh scented cream, before the finishing touch – a professional application of protective base and top coat, as well as my chosen colour.

For friendly staff, expert advice and brilliant results, Leticia Haute Coiffure really is a fantastic destination for an instant image boost and way to unwind.
