The annual Victoria’s secret show has become a fashion institution and this year’s spectacle certainly didn’t disappoint. This year’s extravaganza came in a riot of colours, sparkle and amazing costumes, birds of paradise, a British invasion, Parisian nights concluding in a winter angel segment with 40 models parading down the catwalk and a multitude of wings.

The usual faces of the internationally envied angels took to the catwalk, Doutzen Kroes, Alessandra Ambrosio, Adriana Lima, Cara Delevine and Jourdan Dunn with Malaika Firth and Josephine Skriver being given their wings as they made their Victorias secret debut.

Taylor Swift performed at the event in a union jack outfit before changing for a second performance in a stunning crystal encrusted dress. Bands Fall Out Boy and A Great Big World also lent their musical talent to the show.

The event was as star studded as the lingerie pieces themselves, Valentino Garavani, Olivia Palermo and Julia Restoin-Roitfeld watched on whilst Adam Levine supported fiancé and angel  Behati Prinsloo.

This year’s Fantasy bra was the show stopper and the most expensive yet coming in a $10 million, With its 4200 precious gems, this year’s Victoria’s Secret Royal Fantasy bra set can only be described as exquisite. Worn by south African beauty, Candice Swanepoel surprisingly managed to even outshine this ultra-bling bra, proving that it takes something special to become a Victoria’s secret angel. This year’s show, as it always is, was a huge success and the ultimate celebration of femininity.
