Review: Jennifer O’Shea

As QuickBliss is situated at the front of Debenhams in the bustling Oxford Street store, I was a little apprehensive that my ‘Time to Glow’ facial would take place in front of throngs of busy shoppers. However I needn’t have feared as the Bliss spa station is surprisingly tucked back from the shop floor and didn’t feel like you were really in the mist of a department store at all.  My therapist Vicki was fantastic and genuinely a real Bliss expert. She gave me a complexion consultation to ensure that the products she was going to use were specific to my skin type.

As I lay back in the seriously comfortable reclining chair, Vicki removed all make up and followed with  a dual-cleanse. She started with the Bliss Clog Dissolving Cleansing Milk, followed by the Bliss Triple Oxygen Foaming Cleanser – which she applied by massaging into the skin and removing with a hot flannel. Next step was to introduce the fantastic Bliss Pore-Fector gadget –  an electronic tool using vibrations to ‘power-wash’ and deep clean pores. The gel textured Bliss Triple Oxygen Energizing Mask was then applied, which within seconds turned into a foaming texture – you could literally feel the oxygen bubbles absorbing deep into the skin performing a hydrating, moisture infusion which is perfect for thirsty complexions. The oxygen foam penetrates into areas where your skin needs it most and I found my skin drank up the foam in areas such as cheeks and forehead where it was obviously very dry, and not so much in other areas of the face where the complexion was more balanced. This is a great treatment where the skin simply absorbs what it needs, where it needs it, which doesn’t result in drowning the skin with an unnecessary product overload. After the oxygen mask the Bliss Triple Oxygen Instant Energizing Eye Gel was applied, the ultra light texture melted into the delicate eye area without leaving a tacky residue like many gel-textured eye treatments. The facial was finished with an application of the Bliss Triple Oxygen + C Energizing Cream – a citrus packed vitamin c moisturizer infused with the invigorated scent of juicy oranges. Each product application throughout the treatment was gently massaged into the skin boosting blood flow, promoting relaxation and increasing radiance.

Less than half an hour later my skin felt totally refreshed, revived and was simply glowing. This is an amazing treatment for those who don’t have much time to sit around in salons or spa’s as a mere 25 minutes with Vicki at QuickBliss it all it takes for your complexion to feel completely rejuvenated.
