Q1) Why are you a fan of the 8 Hour Cream/range? How long have you been a fan?

I love the Eight hour range and I have been a fan for years!

Q2) Which product do you most use within the 8 Hour range? Why is this?

I love the intense moisturiser as its sits really well on my skin, it’s not too heavy and when I don’t wear make up it leaves my skin looking dewy and fresh.

Q3) What drew you to the campaign and why did you decide to take part in #My8Hours?

I am a huge Eight Hour Cream fan so was thrilled to be chosen to take part in this campaign.

Q4) What was captured within your 8 hours that encapsulates your lifestyle the most? Would you say this was indicative of your normal day?

My days are so varied and two are never the same! I think the video captured me perfectly, it was as honest as possible. I filmed my days mostly with make-up and even captured my night time routine and getting out the shower! As you can see from watching the footage I spend most of my time running around – so i think the video is a good representation of my life and shows a real insight into my typical 8 hours.

Q5) Who has inspired your career to drive you to achieve what you have?

My family and my boyfriend really drive me to achieve in my career, however I do like to push myself as I like to do things for my own personal achievement.

Q6) What has been your career highlight?

I don’t really have a specific career highlight as I find each and every project so different that I get excited with every job I get to be a part of. I just really love my job.

Q7) If you were given an extra hour in the day, how would you spend it?

If I had an extra hour in the day I would definitely spend it sleeping or eating. Ideally I would eat in my sleep if that were possible.

Q8) What would  be your perfect 8 hours? E.g) sleep, spa with a friend, movie day on a couch, a long walk, all of these… your ideal day?

My perfect 8 hours would start with breakfast in bed with my boyfriend, before taking a long walk on the canal with my dog, we would stop for a drink in our local pub whilst reading the paper. That evening I would then have all my friends round and cooking a big dinner with lots of wine, great food and music.

Q9) In a short sentence, how would you describe your #My8Hour experience?

I have loved the #My8Hour experience, and I really enjoyed watching the footage back. It made me realise that I need to capture more moments in my life.

Q10) If you could pass on one skincare tip to our fans, what would it be?  How did you discover it?

My one skincare tip to pass one is to put lip balm on your lips and exfoliate with a sugar cube! I get really dry lips and a makeup artist gave me this tip – I’ve never looked back its amazing and free (just take a sugar cube from your local cafe!!!)

Q11) What is the best make-up tip you have ever received and how did you discover it?

The best make-up tip I have is that I always mix my foundation with some moisturiser and some highlighter, I find it makes your skin really fresh. I don’t like to wear heavy makeup so this is the perfect combo – i use a third of each.

Q12) Please talk us through your top 8 must have products in your make-up bag, and why they are your favourite?

  1. I use the Eight Hour Intensive Lip Repair Balm – it’s perfect for my dry lips and i carry it in my handbag.
  2. I then use the Eight Hour Intensive Daily Moisturiser as I find it the perfect base for my skin.
  3. I love Chantcaille Future Skin in sand. I love this foundation as it’s really silky and smooth.
  4. Benefit ‘That Gal’ Brightening Face Primer, i mix this with the foundation and the Eight Hour Intensive Daily Moisturiser for lovely dewy skin.
  5. I really love a great blush so I use Topshop blush in neon rose,  I love this as it has a matt cream finish and it’s my everyday blush.
  6. Eyeko Brow Gel is perfect for cmbing through my eyebrows and it comes in a light brown
  7. Benefit Erase Past for my dark circles, I used number 2. This is essential for me after a late night.
  8. Chanel black khol eyeliner – i wear this for on a night out for added drama and to emphasise my eyes, it’s a really soft pencil.

Q13) Who introduced you to Elizabeth Arden’s Eight Hour Cream Skin Protectant? When and where were you when you discovered it?

I was introduced to Elizabeth Arden by my mum who has used the products for years, the smell of the Eight Hour Original Skin Protectant Cream always reminds me fondly of her.

Q14) What’s your best Eight Hour Cream Skin Protectant beauty secret? E.g) Do you use this on flights, overnight as a mask, to stop blisters, around the hairline when you colour your hair etc

I love to use Eight Hour Cream on my eye lids and lashes! I apply it to my eye lids if I’m wearing minimal makeup and want to create shiny eyeshadow look. I heard sienna Miller uses lip gloss but Eight Hour Skin Protectant does the trick!!

If my skin is feeling really dry in the winter I will put Eight Hour Cream all over my face during the night for a fresh, ultra-hydrated face the next day – it’s amazing!!!

Q15) What strong women do you find inspirational? Who are you most inspired by?

I know so many inspirational women in my life, from family, friends and work colleagues. There are too many people to mention but I find there is always something in someone I admire. I’m so lucky to be surrounded by amazing women every day that love, support and inspire me.

For 8 weeks, from May 11th to July 5th 2015, join Eight Hour® Cream and celebrate women today by capturing the highlight from your 8 hour day with the hashtag #My8hours.
