Opening its doors in 2002, Vaishaly Patel is the brains behind the clinic – and it’s not hard to see why. With a wealth of experience and expertise under her belt, Vaishaly has created the ultimate location to head to when you’re in need of some pampering, skin rejuvenating or a beauty pick-me-up.
I was kindly invited to pay the clinic a visit and experience the Vaishaly Signature Facial. Safe to say, I was more than a little excited, particularly as my skin was in dire need of some TLC.
Warmly greeted at reception, I met my lovely clinician, Anna, who led me through to the treatment room. Dimly lit, with tranquil music and a soothing aromatic scent, it was the perfect place to relax.
Anna left me for a few minutes while I got comfy on the treatment bed. Back in the room, Anna asked me about my skin concerns – I explained that I was suffering with quite dry skin and some pigmentation. She then talked me through each step of the facial, explaining that it would help to reduce the pigmentation and give my skin a hydration boost.
Firstly, Anna deeply cleansed my skin, removing my make-up and any general grime from the day. To really help to unclog my skin, Anna then did some extraction, which involved gently using a tool to remove blackheads and unblock pores, leaving my skin squeaky clean and fresh. It was a very satisfying part of the facial!
To help tackle the pigmentation, Anna then carried out microdermabrasion on my skin. Anna carefully brushed the tool over my face, which works to softly lift away dead skin cells and reveal a brighter skintone.
The next step involved Anna using the high-frequency tool on my skin. This clever device is perfect to use after extraction, as it dries and closes pores, as well as swiftly killing any bacteria on the skin (meaning it’ll help to reduce the chances of breakouts, which is always a big win!).
If I wasn’t feeling relaxed already, there was more to come. Anna then applied a super-nourishing clay mask onto my skin and performed a soothing face and cranial massage. I spent the next ten minutes desperately trying not to fall asleep, as Anna expertly used her massage techniques to plump skin, boost circulation and eliminate puffiness.
Washing away the mask with a flannel, Anna then applied a gorgeous moisturiser on my face to lock in the hydration and pampering that my skin had received.
Looking in the mirror as I walked out of the clinic, I could already see a significant difference to my skin – it was glowing like never before! And in the days to follow, I received lots of kind compliments about my complexion, even when I wasn’t wearing make-up.
The whole experience was utterly dreamy. Anna truly worked her magic on my skin, bringing it back to life after enduring the dull and dreary winter months. For a truly indulgent facial experience – and results that are actually noticeable – Vaishaly Clinic is the place you simply must visit.
