The Hotel Review: Towers Rotana, Dubai, UAE

Review: Yolanda McGinnis

The Towers Rotana is a 4* hotel is in a central location adjacent to the Financial Centre Metro Station on Sheikh Zayed Road, just 10km away from the Dubai airport and 8km away from Jumeirah Beach. There are 375 rooms and suites in the hotel, some of which boast stretching views over the exotic Arabian Sea.

Smartly uniformed staff member offered us a warm welcome and our first impressions were good. This great level of service was fantastic throughout our stay.

Our room was a Classic Suite; wonderful, spacious, and with a modern feel. There was a separate lounge room with all facilities needed such as LCD TV, tea and coffee making facilities plus a mini-bar and a safe. The bedroom had an amazing window seat to take advantage of the views over the coastal residential area Jumeirah.

We ate in the award-winning fusion fine dining restaurant Teatro, which proved to be the best dining experiences I have ever had in a hotel. This was a sleek and modern restaurant with a varied menu to suit many palettes. The service was excellent and the signature cocktails that were recommended were fabulous. I plumped for Tempura Wasabi Prawns (super amazing!), followed by Australian Lamb Loin, which was beautiful. My husband opted for Spring Rolls followed by Thai Green Curry – a fantastic dish.

The Towers Rotana has several dining and drinking options. For food and drink head to Long’s Bar, the longest bar in the Middle East. With lots going on here with 20 large screens for sports fans and DJ sets on an evening. The Flavours on Two is an all-day dining option and Wraps is a chilled Café’.

Bodylines Fitness & Wellness Club is situated on the hotel roof, which gives fantastic views. The pool is surrounded by sunbeds, and the Aquarius bar is a must for the exotic cocktails.
