The Trevor Sobie Covent Garden is located in the heart of central London and is a fantastic go-to-place when you are searching for happy, healthy hair. I was immediately greeted at reception upon arrival and taken through to the main area of the salon. Its bright, breezy and modern interior instantly made me feel at ease.
The Trevor Sorbie brand is renowned for its’ professional approach and Trevor himself has trained every member of staff who work at the salon, so I was really looking forward to checking out what this well-known salon would do for my own barnet.
My colourist was the lovely Natasha, who had an in-depth discussion with me about what I was hoping to have done to my hair. We poured over a book that contained a huge selection of colours and Natasha proved her expert knowledge by talking me through the different shades and explaining how certain shades mixed together can create a particular tone. We finally opted on three hues that were combined to create a rich brown colour with golden undertones.
I then sat back with a delicious glass of white wine while Natasha professionally applied the dye mix. To ensure that my hair didn’t turn too dark, Natasha explained how she was going to colour a small strand before beginning, to assess how long the dye would take to develop on my tresses.
After the required amount of time, I was led to the sink area where my hair was washed and conditioned, and I also received a super relaxing scalp massage.
My hair was then trimmed and styled by Alex, a much-needed inch was taken off the ends to get my tresses in to a healthy state again and a fresh shape was added in around my face which Alex promised would help to frame my face and adjust the heaviness that my hair often had.
Finally, my hair was beautifully blow dried in to a smooth, lightweight texture and bouncy, full-bodied shape. This is an ideal location to head to for getting great results and hairdressers who really know what they are talking about.
