This 5 star hotel is situated on the ‘Walk’ which is a retail and leisure strip with Jumeirah Beach close by. The hotel has 301 bedrooms and suites, each with a balcony offering views of the Arabian Gulf or Palm Jumeirah.
Upon our arrival the check-in was faultless, George was very welcoming and fully briefed us on the amenities available, staff were incredibly attentive and nothing was too much trouble. Every member of staff throughout our stay always said hello when you passed them and they were a credit to the hotel.
We had a Classic Sea View Suite with beautiful sea views. The suite was modern, comfortable and spacious, with a huge bed offering feather duvets, a small sofa and coffee table and a small dining type table in the corner. To make the room cosy there were plenty of scatter cushions on the sofa and bed to give a very luxe feel. A kettle and hot drinks station were provided as standard and a mini-bar which was chargeable.
The bathroom was stylish and modern, with toiletries by The White Company. The bath has an overhead shower and there were fluffy bathrobes supplied.
There were plenty of choices in respect of dining including JB’S Gastropub and the Fumo Lounge by Rosso to name a couple. We chose the buffet restaurant Horizon; a very clean and modern space, offering International cuisine, and a huge choice of starters, mains and desserts. Everything we tried was wonderful and beautifully cooked, a fusion of different styles to suit everyone, I selected a lovely lamb dish which was slow cooked, all the food was delicious, again the service was nothing less than amazing.
Breakfast was in Horizon again, and very nicely presented. I particularly like the ‘egg station’ the chef provided freshly cooked eggs to your liking, My omelette and poached eggs, were all perfect, I also had the bacon and sausages, helping myself to a wide variety of fresh fruits, bread, cakes, pastries.
The facilities of the Bodyline Fitness and Wellness Club includes an adult pool which was huge with lots of comfortable sun beds surrounding it. there is also a jacuzzi, steam room, and sauna, and if you feel partial, you can enjoy a cheeky drink at the Sundeck pool bar. if you have children there was a separate pool and activities for them.
