The Aspire lounge at Manchester airport is easily accessed though security and a short walk through the duty-free shops where at the end of the corridor there are stairs and a lift to the second floor where all the lounges are located.

The arrival process as the Aspire airport lounge T1 was nice and easy with all facilities being clearly explained. The staff were friendly, and at 7am it’s great to be greeted with a smile.

We chose to sit overlooking the airport runways where the floor to ceiling windows gave us an amazing view. The lounge has comfy chairs and booth-style with tables ,and unlike the rest of the airport departure lounge, we appreciated the peace and quiet the Aspire lounge gave us.

There are various seating options including a quiet zone, family/social area and business booths offering a full kit including sockets, USB ports and 2 prong international plugs, for essential business travel. TV screens, magazines and daily newspapers are available from around 4.30am, along with  a screen showing flight details.

A variety of complimentary food was on offer from the hot buffet including the traditional cooked breakfast, along with Continental offerings, healthy choices and sweet treats.  The menu changes throughout the day so the food on offer will be dependant on the time of your visit.   Hot drinks stations were dotted about the lounge and the bar was well stocked with branded drinks should you fancy a tipple or a refreshing soft drink prior to flying.

All in all, this was a great experience, leaving us relaxed, well-fed and ready for our flight. A visit to the Aspire lounge is definitely something we will repeat.
