The Edit: Spring Fling Fragrance

A new season means brand new shiny fragrances – needless to say, we’re more than a little bit excited! Here’s our pick of the new scents set to become an addition to your perfume collection very soon. We’ll take one of each, please.

Paco Rabbane Black XS Potion

Sensual and exotic, you won’t be able to resist this energetic perfume. The first notes of neroli and black pepper awaken this scent, while its heart of jasmine and rose absolute are key to the fragrance’s aroma. Cashmere wood makes up the base and completes this intoxicating delight.

Nina Ricci La Tentation De Nina

The bottle of this beauty alone is enough to put this instantly to the top of our wish list, better still, the dreamy scent is just as good. Developed by perfumer Olivier Crisp and Ladurée master,Vincent Lemains, it’s inspired by the delicious scent and taste of macaroons. Opening with a fresh citrus bergamot blend, it goes into a sweet heart of raspberry, almond and lemon, before finishing with white musk and Bourbon vanilla.

L’Occitane Neroli & Orchidee

Perfect for spring, this blends together two gorgeous flowers for a tantalising and vibrant scent. It contains neroli and white orchid, alongside a fruity burst of oranges and peach, resulting in a fresh fruity/floral finish.

Penhaligon’s Lily Of The Valley

A classic scent focusing on this British flower, it takes the very finest lily of the valley and blends it with a warm duo of bergamot and citrus. Ylang ylang, jasmine, rose and lily of the valley are mixed with a sandalwood and oaskmoss base for an alluring scent.

Liz Earle Botanical Essence No 100

Liz Earle has always been a G&G favourite when it comes to skincare and we can safely say that she also excels in the fragrance department. This limited edition number takes Damask rose, orange flower and Indian jasmine, before blending it with cypress, sandalwood and Bourbon vanilla. And finally, it’s finished with a fruity mandarin and bergamot combo.

Ghost Whisper Blush

Another limited edition scent is this light, summery perfume from Ghost. Pear, bergamot and raspberry begin the fragrance, before a fresh heart blend of honeysuckle and rose. A base note of absolute and woody notes helps to shape and define its alluring aroma.

Dolce & Gabbana Dolce

A great signature scent, this captivating smell is a treat for the nose – opening with a floral bouquet of neroli and papaya flower. It continues with a rich heart of white water lily, white amaryllis and daffodil, before finishing with the musky notes of cashmeran. This will immediately become your go-to-scent for almost any occasion.

Gucci Flora 1966

For a super elegant and luxurious scent, this Gucci number is a must-have. An evoking floral fragrance, it opens with the sensual top notes of bourbon pepper, before going into a pretty peony and rose duo. The strong base of irresistible patchouli completes this perfume treat.

Sisley Eau Tropicale

Living up to its name, this is inspired by a tropical forest after enduring a storm and the rain. This exotic but fresh scent starts with the likes of ginger flower, hibiscus and frangipani and descends into a heart of violet leaf. It’s also blended with a rich base of cedar, patchouli and ambrette seed.

Thierry Mugler Alien Eau Extraordinaire

We’re always a fan of these fab scents and this lovely addition is no exception. A luminous floral opening of Tunisian neroli and bergamot is combined with tiare flower and amber. Developed to convey a woman’s happiness, we can definitely see the connection with this delightful aroma.

Marc Jacobs Daisy Delight

Marc Jacobs has done it again; bringing out yet another perfume that we’re lusting over. Providing a new take on the now classic Daisy, this breezy number uses tonnes of red apple, quince flower and freesia, pairing it with iris, peonies and cedarwood. And as per usual, the bottle is stylish and dressing-table-worthy.
